Even now, she still cares about her appearance and was delighted, saying 'What a lovely cane.'She uses it at the shortest length setting. My mother is 165cm (5ft 5in). She has probably gotten a bit shorter with age, but even so, she is using the shortest setting. I did wonder if people shorter than her might find it awkward to use... (The compatible height range says 145-175cm, but still...)
