Not as heavy as I thought it would be yet feels very well made & strong enough to be beneficial. Hand grip is very comfortable for my arthritic hands, love the many adjustable heights & the stand-alone feature. Folds quite compact as well. I need help standing up straight & use a 3 wheel walker which limits where I can go. This I could take anywhere.
This walking stick is a total game changer! I was getting to the point where I didn��t think it was safe for me to walk alone because I get dizzy. But now I am enjoying walking. It is like having someone to lean on when you need to. I like it fully extended so it��s about at shoulder height.
It took a while to get used to but it's now a necessity for me. I don't hunch over as I did with regular canes and it is very sturdy. My knees and wrist are much happier and my physical therapist approves since we're working on my gait and posture. Get it. It's great for travel, too. Fairly easy to assemble and disassemble. Get it.
This is the perfect cane for my 6ft 5in hubby. He is over the moon with it. It's the perfect height for him. Very nice, looking cane too. He had major back surgery and will be using it for up to 6 mo or more.
This is the best walking stick I��ve ever gotten. I have MS and I use it daily. I have ordered other ones from Amazon very similar in their features and form but this one is heavy duty. It��s not heavy itself , but it��s just sturdier than the other ones I��ve had. I love the grip on the handle the other ones I��ve had did not have grip on the handle. This one comes with a Velcro strap probably to hold the lanyard in place. The rubber base is nonslip it has enough grip that it doesn��t slip and it doesn��t get caught on surfaces. The base is flat not curved as other ones I��ve had in the past were slightly curved. Even the lanyard that comes with it is more durable than the old one.
